PURPOSE: To firmly fix an objective lens which is used to condense light beams onto information recording medium without producing distortion due to an adhesive in an objective lens driving device for an optical head of optical information writing and reading device. CONSTITUTION: A lens holder is divided into lens holder parts 11, 12, and grooves 13, 14 are formed respectively. The lens holder parts 11, 12 are fixed so that an objective lens 1 held in the grooves 13, 14 is fixed to the lens holder. Because the objective lens 1 is not in contact with an adhesive, the objective lens 1 is free from distortion due to the adhesive. Further, since the objective lens 1 is held in the lens holder grooves 13, 14 and does not drop, reliability for writing and reading of information can be improved. |
