PURPOSE: To realize the work of writing-down in dark environment formed generally in an office and to obtain picture information in an excellent display state by providing a lighting fixture at the peripheral part of the display area of a screen for reflecting the projected picture information. CONSTITUTION: The lighting fixture 9 consisting of a straight tube fluorescent lamp 10 and a reflector 11 is arranged in parallel with the periphery of the screen 1 in the long side direction of the lighting equipment 9 at the peripheral part of the image information display area 3 where the image information 4 or 14 from a projection type display device 2 is projected on the general screen 1. For example, even in the general office environment which is not the environment where illumination is freely adjusted, the screen device 13 provided with the lighting fixture is used by forming the dark environment by using a partition such as a curtain. In this case, even when the deflection of the lighting equipment 9 is changed in a considerable range, the light does not directly irradiate the display area 3, and even though it does, the display characteristic of the image information is not deteriorated by the irradiation angle and the directivity of the light of the screen 1. |
