The locking mechanism is located on the inner panel (1) of the door and has one or more hooks (3) to engage with slots in the upper panel. It comprises at least one button (7) which turns on a hinge (10) and has a body passing through a surface (2) of the panel. The button is returned to its upper position when pressed by a return spring (8), and ensures the closure and locking of the inner panel to the upper one. The button has a first section (9) to receive the finger of the user, rising to join the body of the button, which has lateral projections to keep it from lifting above a certain level relative to the panel. The body of the button is hollow and has a projection on the underside to guide the return spring. Its first section (9) has its surface covered with a smooth synthetic material of a different colour to indicate where it is to be pressed.
