PURPOSE: To provide a document preparation device which easily and efficiently manages many relative documents. CONSTITUTION: This document preparation device is equipped with a document index setting means which sets the indexes of documents along the management system of a document group, an index selecting means 12 which displays the indexes of the set documents and makes an operator to select an item of an index, a document preparing means 14 which prepares documents, a document management means 16 which registers the item of the index selected by the index selecting means 12 and the document prepared by the document preparing means 14 so that they correspond to each other, and a document index retrieving means 18 which specifies a corresponding document on the basis of the specified item of the index and the contents registered by the document management means 14. |
