PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a color image forming device from which a printed output having superior color reproducibility is obtained, even if different kinds of transfer papers are used. SOLUTION: Based on image signals obtained when an image scanner 1 reads an original, an image-forming device forms a color image on transfer paper fed from paper feeding trays 5a, 5b, and 5c by means of a color printer 3. At the time of forming the color image, a color image generating section 2 generates patches of a plurality of colors and texture section of the transfer paper, and the printer 3 outputs the patches by reprinting. Then the scanner 1 reads spectral reflectance densities of the outputted patches of the colors and texture section and stores the densities in a transfer paper data storing section 4. Then, based on the stored spectral reflection density data of each transfer paper the image-forming device improves the color reproducibility by performing color masking processing on the image data which are read by means of the printer 3. |
