<p>PURPOSE: To attain high picture quality by dissolving or dispersing a specific high polymer or a mixture of the high polymer as a magnetic body dispersing agent together with a magnetic body and a charge control agent in a polymerizable monomer. CONSTITUTION: This magnetic toner is obtained by polymerizing a polymerizable monomer mixed solution containing the dispersed magnetic body particle. A compound, which is a homopolymer and/or copolymer soluble in the polymerizable monomer to be the raw material, has one or more peaks of weight average molecular weight in the range of a low molecular weight of <=100000 whose weight is counted to 70-95wt.% of the whole polymer and has one or more peaks of weight average molecular weight in the range of a high molecular weight of >=100000 counted to 5-30wt.% of the whole polymer in molecular weight distribution by GPC(gel permeation chromatography), is used as the dispersing agent for the magnetic body particle. The quantity of the polymer to be added, which is used as the dispersing agent for the magnetic body particle and soluble in the polymerizable monomer, is 1-30wt.% of the polymerizable monomer mixture.</p> |
