PURPOSE: To provide a data processor capable of picture data processing at high speed by means of hardware by speedily accessing picture data in a memory. CONSTITUTION: Picture data stored in the memory 7 is read out not through CPU but only by processing by means of hardware, data-processed by a picture data processing circuit 4 again and then rewritten in the same memory 7. Besides, picture data is written in idle time between intermittent read-out of the memory 7 so that data after data processing is written in the same memory 7 before reading all the pieces of data from the memory 7. |
