PURPOSE: To provide a developing device, a process cartridge and an image forming device capable of improving the circulation of a developer in a developing container, for preventing the generation of a low density and density unevenness in an image. CONSTITUTION: The developing device 2 provided with an antenna (conductive detecting member) 1 arranged in parallel with the axial direction of a developing sleeve (developer carrier) 5 in the hopper (developing container) 3 and a means detecting the toner (developer) 10 remaining in the hopper 3 by a change in a voltage induced by the antenna 1, when an AC voltage is applied to the developing sleeve 5 is constituted so that the antenna 1 is movable and moved to a fixed detecting position (measuring position) 1a at the time of detecting. By such a constitution, the antenna 1 can be retreated from the rear of the developing sleeve 5, at the time of nondetecting, so that the packing of the toner often caused in a conventional constitution that the conductive detecting member is fixedly arranged on the rear of the developer carrier can be prevented. Thus, the circulation of the toner 10 in the hopper 3 is improved to prevent the generation of the density unevenness and low density. |
