PURPOSE: To enhance the efficiency and reliability of a motor by composing the stator winding of a single conductor bent in nearly U-shape and connecting the nearly U-shaped conductors through a connecting conductor thereby decreasing the number of joints and the resistance of the stator winding. CONSTITUTION: A stator winding 5 is composed of a single conductor 5A nearly bent in U-shape which is inserted, at the leg part thereof, into each slot 12 of a stator core 4 from same side in the axial direction. The conductors 5A nearly bent in U-shape are then connected through a connecting conductor coupled to the terminal parts thereof. Since the conductors 5A nearly bent in U-shape are required to be connected only on one side of the stator 2 in the axial direction thereof, the number of joints is decreased and the length of the stator winding 5 is shortened thus decreasing the resistance thereof. This structure enhances the efficiency and reliability of a motor. |
