PURPOSE: To prevent the revolution of a motor during the execution of complete discharge, and to reduce the deterioration of a revolution system by forcedly discharging a battery up to an extent that a memory effect is considered to be dissolved while the motor and a power conversion circuit for driving are used as discharge load. CONSTITUTION: Complete discharge is carried out in a controller 18 when the a memory effect is considered to be actualized first. Complete discharge is also executed even at the time of easy complete discharge. When a car driver requires complete discharge, even when a discharge permitting switch 50 is tuned on, complete discharge is conducted. The controller 18 continues such discharge control until the state of complete discharge is detected. Accordingly, the winding of a motor 10 and an inverter 14 can be used as discharge load while controlling the state of the motor 10 under a stopped state, thus dissolving or reducing the deterioration of a revolution system. |
