PURPOSE: To obtain a pickup device which is simple in construction, is decreased in mounting positions of pickups and has excellent operability without impairing the performance and appearance of a musical instrument by integrally constituting a ham backer pickup and a single coil pickup. CONSTITUTION: The pickup device integrally constituted with the ham backer pickup 1 which produces powerful tones and the single coil pickup 2 which produces distinct tones is fixed to the body or pick guard of an electronic guitar by means of fixtures 3 and set screw holes 4. Then, the influence of the installation of many mounting parts to the body and pick guard on musical tones and the impairment of the appearance as with the conventional electronic guitars do not arise any more. As to a handling operation, the changeover of the pickups 1 and 2 is possible with a simple switch operation like heretofore and there is no more need for changing the pickups 1 and 2 according to desire. |
