PURPOSE: To provide an electrical connector which can have good mountability to a printed circuit board. CONSTITUTION: An electrical connector has beams at one side and the other of a housing 1, and a plurality of pressed-in portions are held in a line between one beam 3 and the other beam 4. The plurality of pressed-in portions held between one beam 3 and the other beam 4 are simultaneously held between the beams via connections formed at one side and the other of each pressed-in portion and are independently formed by slits 7 formed between the pressed-in portions. Moreover, the other connection connecting the other beam 4 forming the housing 1 with the pressed-in portions forms a vertical plane raised perpendicular to the horizontal plane of the housing 1 which is the same plane as the pressed-in surfaces of the pin terminals 2 of the plurality of pressed-in portions formed in the housing 1, and the other beam 4 is located on top of the other connection 6 forming the vertical plane.
