PURPOSE: To reduce the circuitry by turning an AC switch on at the time of power supply so that an LC circuit serves as a booster reactor to charge a battery whereas turning the AC switch off at the time of power interruption so that the battery power is converted into AC power. CONSTITUTION: A capacitor 21 and a coil 22 constitute an LC circuit 20 which serves as a booster reactor at the time of power supply and as a low-pass filter at the time of power interruption. During an interval when a unidirectional switch (SW) Q3 for positive half cycle of power supply voltage is turned on, for example, a current flows from an AC feeder line (AL) 18a through a fuse 19, the coil 22, a current transformer (CT) 41, the SWQ3, and a diode (DD) D4 to an AL18b and the energy is stored in the coil 22. During an interval when the SWQ3 is turned off, a current flows from the coil 22 through the CT41, the DDD1, a battery 60, a resistor 42, the DDD4 and a capacitor 21 thus charging the battery 60. |
