The pulse generator includes a first supply which is provided with a voltage generator (8) with a series diode (10) to prevent reverse current, a current limiting resistor (11) and a switch (9) operated by a control circuit (12). A diode (4) across the load (1) allows the current at a junction, B, to flow to earth. The second voltage generator is connected to the first supply at a point (A) between the switch and the capacitor. This recharging circuit is similar to the first but a transformer replaces the load. Across the secondary transformer coil, a diode is connected away from earth. The secondary output passes through a diode to the point (A). |
