METHOD FOR SYNCHRONIZING PHASES BETWEEN BASE STATIONS

PURPOSE: To establish frame synchronization between radio base stations with radio communication at the mobile communication system of a TDMA system to perform dynamic channel assignment. CONSTITUTION: A reference radio base station 1 is provided with an alarm signal transmitter 8 for transmitting an alarm signal 11 for synchronizing the TDMA frame phase of that station itself based on a reference signal 10 received by a reference signal receiver 4 and synchronizing the phase of the other subordinate radio base station as well. A subordinate radio base station 1a or 1b selects the alarm signal at the earliest reception timing among the alarm signals containing information showing the synchronism establishment received by an alarm signal receiver 9a or 9b and synchronizes the phase of the TDMA frame of the present station with that timing. Thus, the synchronization between radio base stations can be established and the efficiency of channel utilization through the TDMA system can be improved.
