PURPOSE: To enhance the generalization of a fuse clip by holding electrodes by two contact pieces on both the sides of a holding part, having the middle contact piece abut on an electrode end face, simplifying the shape of the fuse clip and using various kinds of automatic insertion machines. CONSTITUTION: In a clip 10, legs 15, 16 are inserted in holes 4a, 4a, disposed at specific positions on a printed board 4. Support portions 17, 18 are in contact on surface of the board 4 in lower surface. The clip 10 is held almost perpendicularly on the board 4. On the board 4, clips 10, 10 as pair are disposed, facing each other, contact pieces 13, 13 at middle facing inward. Respective legs 15, 16 in the clip 10 are fixed by soldering to circuit pattern formed on lower surface of the board 4. In a glass-tube fuse 2, electrodes 2a, 3b at both ends are inserted from above the clips 10, 10 in between contact pieces facing each other, 12, and 14, 12 and 14. In the electrode 2a, the contact pieces 12, 14 are expanded right and left due to its external peripheral surface, and the contact piece is expanded outward due to its end face 2a', so that it is pushed into a recess portion 12a, 14a between the contact pieces 12, 14. |
