FIELD: oil extraction industry, apparatuses for gas separation form liquid at intake of borehole pump. SUBSTANCE: aim is to create borehole gas separator without moving parts and providing better conditions for discharge of separated dissolved gas and , as a result of it, more stable mode of gas separator operation. Borehole gas separator has mounted at borehole pump intake degassing chamber with inlet holes in upper part and sucking pipe located inside chamber, mean to create difference of pressures made in the form of partition located below inlet holes in ring type cavity between degassing chamber and sucking pipe. Partition hole is located concentrically to sucking pipe with formation around it ring type slit. In the case lower surface of partition is conical with cone vertex directed upward. In process of gas separator operation conical lower surface of partition directs separated in lower cavity of degassing chamber dissolved gas to ring type slit facilitating its exit in annulus space. As a result of it probability of gas cushion formation in degassing chamber, that causes failure of gas separator operation, is decreased.
