PURPOSE: To provide a negative planographic printing plate formed by the silver complex diffusion transfer method operable in a light room. CONSTITUTION: The planographic printing plate is formed by successively coating a support with at least one undercoat layer and a silver halide emulsion layer and a physical development nucleus layer, and the silver halide emulsion comprises a silver halide emulsion for a prefogged direct positive emulsion containing at least 80mol% silver chloride, and the inside of each silver halide emulsion grains is chemically sensitized and the undercoat layer contains an antihalation dye and/or a black pigment.
