The sliding transmission joint has a male section (1), notably a tripod, to be fixed to a first shaft and having arms (5). A female element (2) is destined to be fixed to a second shaft and define two tracks (9,10) on each arm, with an intermediate part (3) introduced between each arm. On one side of the arm (5), the track (9) is a throat and the intermediate part (3) is a ball. On the other side of the arm, the arm is in contact with the second track (10) of the second track (10) of the female element (2).
