PURPOSE: To enable restarting double sided copying in regular page order, even if a jamming occurs, by consecutively copying on a single side copied paper sheet subsequent to a point of interrupted time, after eliminating the cause in question, when a transport of a document for copying is interrupted during the consecutive copying process. CONSTITUTION: A CPU 91 of a copying machine main body 1 is connected with an image forming part 11, a control panel 3 and an interface 93, and the CPU 95 of an automatic document feeding device 2 is connected with the interface 96 for transmitting and receiving signals while connected to the copying machine main body 1, a transporting part 23, the driving circuit 98 for rotating respective roller of an inversion part 24 and a paper discharging part 25, and a document detection unit 70. When the transport of the document to be copied is interrupted while consecutively copying the second face of document to the second face of paper sheet, after consecutively copying the first face of document by transporting plural documents, an user processes the jamming according to displayed contents on the control panel 3. Then, after completion of jamming processing, the second face of plural documents is successively consecutively copied corresponding to the copying paper sheet whose first face is copied subsequent to the interrupted time point during the transportation of documents. |
