<p>PURPOSE: To provide alliquot of a piano capable of making musical tones ample by allowing the easy generation of harmonic overtones. CONSTITUTION: This alliquot is composed of three pieces of strings 1, 2, 3 for the prescribed intervals of the high-pitched tones which are extended between hitch pins 16 and tuning pins, bridge pins 4a, 4b, 5a, 5b, 6a, 6b which are driven by two pieces each per string to long bridges 18 of the pianos and apply transverse pry to the respective strings 1, 2, 3 and string pillows 7 which are columnar bodies having an approximately parabolic section and intersect linearly and non-perpendicularly with three pieces of the strings 1, 2, 3. The lengths BL1, BL2, BL3 of the back strings vary with each of the respective strings and the differences in these lengths are within 1mm. The ratio of the length BL2 of the back string of the central string 2 and the speaking length SL is so set as to attain a simple integer ratio, such as 1:4 or 2:3.</p> |
