PURPOSE: To prevent pause and interruption of reproduction by recording an address of a reading error in a non-volatile memory, skipping the address and performing reproduction at the time of reproduction, in a KARAOKE (background music without lyrics) device. CONSTITUTION: A system control device 2 stores its disk number, file number, start address and block number of a data block being not repairable in a non- volatile memory 3' based on reproduction instruction information sent from a CD-ROM reproducing device 5. When data of corresponding disk number and file number is already stored in the memory 3' at the time of start of reproduction, the reproducing device 5 is also controlled by the address data, a block being not readable is skipped, and the file is reproduced. |
