PURPOSE: To provide a manufacturing method for a sealed type storage battery for which liquid injection is possible without allowing attachment of electrolyte to the thermal deposit part of a film-like or sheet-like synthetic resin body. CONSTITUTION: A electrode plate group is constituted by including at least one piece of a electrode plate 1 having liquid injecting function while serving as a liquid injection type electrode pillar with its additional role of terminal 5 in which a liquid injection route 6 is provided in the longitudinal direction of the electrode pillar with its additional role of the terminal provided on electrode plate main body. The tip of the liquid injection type pole pillar with its additional role of terminal 5 is exposed outward and pinched by film-like or sheet-like synthetic resin bodies and mutual edge parts of the synthetic resin bodies and the contact part between the synthetic resin bodies and the electrode pillar with its additional role of terminal are connected together to form an electric vessel. Thereafter, electrolytic liquid is injected in the electric vessel, from the liquid injecting route 6 of the liquid injection type pole pillar with its additional role of terminal 5, and thereafter the liquid injection route 6 of the liquid injection type pole pillar with its additional role of terminal 5 is sealed at its opening outside of the electric vessel.
