PURPOSE: To provide the display control method and its display system of a display device having storability making the synthetic display between video information from video signal input devices such a video camera, video disk player and so forth and the picture information from a host CPU possible to have a partial rewriting control function in a video capture system. CONSTITUTION: An area where an updating is to be performed is detected by the picture information from a central processing device (191, 193), a synthetic area at the time of synthesizing the video information from the video signal input device is detected (21, 193) and then picture information whose display updating are performed among video information from the video signal input device and video information from the central processing device are outputted to a display device 20 preferentially based on detected information (193, 198). The preferential outputting to the display device is realized by making the interval of scanning lines to be updated in the area where the display updating is performed by picture information from the video signal input device and the area where the display updating is performed by the picture information of the central processing device different from that in the area other than them. |
