PURPOSE: To simply eliminate the insertion or removal of an inverter unit by connecting built-in inverter units in parallel by a plug-in method to form an inverter. CONSTITUTION: Inverter units 21 to 2n are connected in parallel with the DC output circuit of a rectifier via start switches 11 to 1n provided at the DC input side. The AC output sides of the units 21 to 2n are connected in parallel with the input side of an output transformer 6 via reactors 51 to 5n , and a parallel capacitor 7 is connected in a parallel with the output side of the transformer 6. The units are formed in built-in type, and can be simply inserted or removed by a plug-in method. Accordingly, a defective unit can be simply replaced with a normal unit without removing the power source, thereby enhancing the reliability of its UPS function. |
