PURPOSE: To provide a light deflecting element, keeping the direction of an exit light beam constant even when it is inclined to an entrance light beam while decreasing a number of reflection surfaces, and an optical information recording/reproducing device using such a light deflecting element. CONSTITUTION: This element comprises a first lens surface 21a with rotary symmetry as a first lens component for converging a light beam made incident from a fixed part side, a reflection surface 21b located at the focus of the lens surface 21a and internally reflecting the converged light beam and a second lens surface 21c with rotary symmetry as a second lens component making the reflection surface 21b its focal position and they are integrally formed by using plastics. The optical axis of the first lens surface 21a is orthogonal to the optical axis of the second lens surface 21c and the reflection surface 21b is a spherical surface for compensating the curvature of field included in the first and the second lens surfaces 21a, 21c. |
