IMPROVED PRINTING PLATE AND ITS PRODUCTION

PURPOSE: To provide a relief printing plate having small dots in a nonpicture part and to provide its forming method by using a low-cost dot image carrying body. CONSTITUTION: This relief printing plate consists of a member layer and a photosensitive resin layer and has small dots formed in a nonpicture part. The small dots consist of two kinds of dots which are main small dots and sub-small dots with different heights. The relief printing plate is produced by using a dot image carrying body which is suitable for the production. Thereby, a printing plate having a substantial effect to prevent contamination can be easily produced at a low cost without using special techniques.
