PURPOSE: To produce a printed material consisting of characters, figures and dot picture images in a simple plate making process without decreasing the resolution of dot picture images by forming a hydrophilicity imparting layer having toner accepting property and a photosensitive resin layer on a flexible supporting body. CONSTITUTION: The photosensitive planographic printing plate material (PS plate) is produced by forming a hydrophilicity imparting layer having toner accepting property and a photosensitive resin layer on a flexible supporting body. A first image is exposed on the PS plate and developed to remove the photosensitive resin layer in a nonpicture part. Then a toner image as the second image is formed on the hydrophilicity imparting layer where the photosensitive resin layer is removed. Although the first image is a dot picture image, it is formed on the PS plate by contact exposure so that the obtd. image has very high resolution. The second image such as character information excluding dot picture images is produced DTP and directly formed on the PS plate where the photosensitive resin layer is removed. Therefore, the production of a character mask or the like in the plate assembling process is not necessary, which decreases the consumption of the intermediate material and reduces the production processes. |
