Science instruction is given with a fume cupboard mounted with two vertical columns (10,11) from which a bench panel (13) and the upper cover (14) project. Columns are pref. formed by metal sections comprising a U-section and a cover section forming a hollow column. The two columns are connected below bench level by a section (22) forming an installation channel for power and/or gas and/or water. They can provide supply and/or return channels for power and/or gas and/or water. |
