PURPOSE: To increase the efficiency of the work of power distribution line by providing a stopper at a base end portion filled with a viscous body in a main body of a cover, by projecting out an electric insertion confirmation pin from the tip of the main body of cover to the external portion in conformity with the quantity of insertion of electric wire. CONSTITUTION: If an electric wire terminal cover 11 is pressed into a tip portion of an electric wire 1, then the tip portion of the electric wire is inserted to the cover main body 12 while pushing a viscous body 14 backward within the base end portion 12b from an insertion hole 12a. At this time, a watertight construction is created within the cover main body 12. If the electric wire end cover 11 is further pressed along the electric wire 1, then the tip portion of the electric wire 1 pushes and moves a pressured moving body 15 toward the tip portion 12c of the cover main body 12, and the tip side of the electric wire insertion quantity confirmation pin 15a is projected out to the outside of the cover main body 12 in response to the quantity of insertion to the inside of the cover main body 2 of the electric wire 1.
