METHOD AND STRUCTURE FOR PROCESSING EXCESS LENGTH OF CONNECTION PART OF OPTICAL CABLE WITH CONNECTOR

PURPOSE: To provide an excess length processing method capable of easily processing an excess length of an optical fiber core wire and improving workability in connection work of an optical cable. CONSTITUTION: Optical fiber cables pulled out from cable terminals of respective optical cables 1 are laminated at every plural sheets to be banded together, and an optical fiber tape core wire bundle 2 is constituted. A connector connection body 3 is attached to the optical fiber tape core wire bundle to be fixed to a connection box 6 through a flexible supporting member 8 by a connector connection body fixing member 4. After the connector connection bodies 3 are connected to each other, by descending the connector connection body fixing member 4 while shortening the supporting member 8 while turning by 180 deg., the excess lengths are processed arranging the optical fiber tape core wire 2 so as to fold back.
