IMPROVED PERSONAL CLEANSING BAR WITH TAILORED FATTY ACID SOAP

The present invention relates to a mild, lathering personal cleansing soap bar composition by weight of the bar comprising: from 30 to 85 parts of tailored fatty acid soap, from 0 parts to 30 parts lathering synthetic detergent/surfactant, and from 5 to 35 parts of water. The tailored fatty acid soap comprises: (I) from 50 % to 85 % is saturated fatty acid soap selected from the group consisting of: myristic, palmitic, and stearic acid soaps and mixtures thereof; and (II) from 15 % to 50 % is mixture of oleic (C18:1) and lauric acid (C12) soaps; including from 0 to 10 % minor fatty acid soaps selected from the group consisting of: C8, C10, C18:2; and mixtures thereof; wherein said tailored fatty acid soap is a mixture of 65 % to about 95 % sodium soap and from 5 % to about 35 % magnesium soap.
