Constant hot water supply system

A water column flows into a storage container on turning on a tap when the water column is cold, and displaces hot water from the container to the tap location (5,6). The electric heating element (8) of a heater is switched on during tap water supply phases until the desired temp. is attained in the storage container. Pref., the electric heating element (8) is connected in single phase and has a power of 500 W. The heater (4) pref. includes a temp. sensor (17) cooperating with a microprocessor for setting the desired temp. of the storage container (7).
