The heat transfer device consists of a basically cylindrical element with ribs (2) standing vertically on a base plate (1) to form a complete heat transfer element. The space between the ribs has a trapezoid channel cross section. The outer ribs are thicker and act as a casing, with outer inflow and outflow (4, 5). Inner inflow and outflows (6,7) take place in the center (8). The flow channels pass through the base plate from alternate sides, maintaining the curvature radius, trapezoid shape and flow cross section.
