An optical fibre detecting device for detecting a distance to a reflection point in an object to be measured and a reflection amount by dividing a laser beam capable of sweeping frequencies into two, causing one of the divided two laser beams to enter a light detector via a reference light path, causing the other laser beam to enter the object to be measured, causing light reflected inside the object to be measured to enter the light detector and frequency analyzing an interference signal of the two lights obtained in the light detector, wherein an optical coupler is provided along the reference light path, a part of the reference light is taken out and caused to pass through a light frequency shifter, and thereafter the light so passed is multiplexed through the optical coupler so as to obtain a reference light.
