PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tubular forming die for molding a positive electrode mix, capable of producing a tubular molding of a positive electrode mix with a high compression and a high density at high production yield, and having excellent durability. SOLUTION: This forming die for molding a tubular molding comprises a forming die 6 having a circular through hole 7, a pair of punches 9a, 9b for pushing which are respectively slid from both end sides of the circular through hole 7 of the forming die 6 to be inserted into and fitted in each other, and a core rod 10 which is concentrically installed in one of the punches 9a, 9b for pushing in a manner that the rod 10 can slide and which produces a tubular molding die 8 between the inner wall face of the circular opening 7 of the forming die 6 and the core rod 10 itself. The inner wall face of the circular opening 7 of the forming die 6 is tapered to be wider in the axial direction toward end sides in at least two-steps 7a, 7b in the open end sides except the region where the tubular molding die 8 is formed. |
