PURPOSE: To provide a multilayer coil which can be manufactured with simple work without any demand for a sophisticated device and prevents its cut-off lead part from projecting outwardly and its winding method as well. CONSTITUTION: A cut-off lead part 12a of a conductor 12 is adapted to rise outwardly on a winding jig 10 comprising a magnetic core 16 around which the conductor 12 is wound up and a collar 17 installed on both sides of the magnetic core in the radius direction along an inner surface of the collar 17. The conductor 12 is wound up in the form of a multilayer of regular winding around the outer periphery of the magnetic core of the wiring jig 10 so that each layer's cross part of the conductor 12 may be positioned at an angle equivalent to that of a rising part of the cut-off lead when viewed from laterally, thereby forming a multilayer coil where the rising part of the cut-off lead is arranged to be flush with the side surface of the coil There is provided a conductor engagement part 19, which is designed to engage the base part of the cut-off lead part of the conductor 12 with the inner surface of the collar 17 of the winding jig 10. |
