A drug dispenser (6), having a drug case (12) storing drugs and a dispensing mechanism (13) mounted to a lower portion of the drug case (12). The dispensing mechanism (13) includes an arrange body (59). The arrange body (59) has a drug passageway (60) for arranged vertically said drugs and a surface (61) guiding the drug to the drug passageway (60). The dispensing mechanism (13) includes a fixed plate (66) provided under the arrange body (59). The fixed plate (66) has a drug drop opening (63) connected to the drug passageway (60). The fixed plate (66) has a separator (65) free to pass into an intermediate of the drug passageway (60). The dispensing mechanism (13) includes a swing mechanism (68) swinging said arrange body (59) between a first position in which the separator (65) closes the drug passageway (60) and a second position in which the separator (65) opens the drug passageway (60). The dispensing mechanism (13) includes a drive means (70) for the swing mechanism (68). The drug storing in the drug case (12) is aligned in the drug passageway (60). The separator (65) stops the drug in the first position and enables the drug to pass into the drug drop opening (63) one by one in the second position. The swing mechanism (68) arranges, separates and discharges the drug, so that the drug dispenser (6) can have a vertically elongated shape and be downsized. A drug packer (1) receiving corresponding drug dispensers (6) can reduce the height and increase the availability.
