The stereo camera comprises a camera body incorporating two single-lens reflex camera optical systems, two photographing lenses (4R,4L). A knob (14) is provided for adjusting the focal point by feeding a pair of lens boards (9R,9L) for mounting the photographing lenses in a direction parallel with the optical axes of the lenses. A mechanism adjusts the distance between the optical axes by adjusting the interval between the lens boards. Lens shifting cams (17R,17L) are symmetrically provided on a base frame for supporting the lens boards and the knob. Rollers (18) are provided on the lens boards. The lens boards are urged by a spring (15) so as to push the rollers on the cams for automatically adjusting the distance between the optical axes to bring the visual fields of the photographing lenses at a focal distance in agreement at all times irrespective of the feeding amounts of the photographing lenses. An expanding and contracting mechanism is provided for switching the interval of a pair of lens shifters (13) using e.g a feed screw. |
