<p>A recording and/or reproduction apparatus using a disk cartridge accommodating an optical disk as a recording medium. This recording and/or reproduction apparatus comprises a recording/reproduction portion for conducting recording and/or reproduction of information signals to and from a recording medium stored in the cartridge, a container for accommodating a plurality of disk cartridges, having operating for moving the disk cartridges that are disposed on the opposed surfaces, and disposed on the front surfaces side of the main body, a take-out mechanism for selectively taking out the disc cartridges from the container, a transfer mechanism for loading the cartridge taken out by the take-out mechanism to the recording and/or the reproduction portion, and an elevation transfer mechanism for moving up and down and moving relatively the container and the take-out mechanism.</p> |
