Ballast valve

The ballast valve for columns, such as for fractioning or distilling or gas washing and the like, has a kink (35) at the projecting end of the leg (8), to give a grip action when passed through the appropriate opening in the valve base (1), and give a hold under it with a shaped fit in the drilling for the leg to be anchored under the base (1).
