Electromagnetic actuator for operation of an air valve

The electromagnetic actuator is used to open and close an air valve or ventilation valve and has a coil (3) on a plastic material former (2) set into an iron housing (5). The valve element is set at the end of a rod (22) that acts on an armature element and moves axially in a guide sleeve (15). The sleeve has an inner section of bronze metal (16) and this carries two sections of magnetic material (13, 14). The sleeve assembly is set into a magnetic tube (10) and is supported at the end in a magnetic core element (9). Connection pins (4) are set into the end section.
