An extrusion head has flow channels (18, 20, 22) extending to a die and extruders (28, 30, 32) feeding components at different pressures into the channels. The die has a common outlet from which the components discharge as a composite profile strip (42). Flow restrictions in the channels decrease the difference in pressure between the components at the die to 250 psi prior to their coming together. |
