The electrical contact between the housing (2) of such as a personal computer and a side panel (20) has the housing of sheet material subjected to a press forming operation to create a contact arm (1). The contact arm is formed in a folded section by blanking out a U-shaped section. This results in a spring contact finger (1) that has a contact pad (12) at the tip. The spring action of the arm maintains contact with the panel as it is inserted. The panel can be part of a drawer unit.
