<p>The proposed method of transferring heat from a lower temperature level to an upper temperature level is achieved by heating a thermal energy receiver (2) by radiant heat exchange. In the process of radiant heat exchange from a stream of thermal radiation generated by the radiating surface (4) of a thermal electromagnetic radiator (3), at least two intersecting non-diffuse streams of thermal radiation are produced. The non-diffuse thermal radiation streams thus created must enclose in their fields of intersection the absorbing surface (7) of the thermal energy receiver (2). This allows concentration of the thermal radiation energy on the absorbing surface (7) of the receiver (2). In the device designed for carrying out the claimed method, means (8) of concentrating the energy of the thermal radiation stream are used to provide functional interconnection between the thermal electromagnetic radiator (3) and the thermal energy receiver (2) in order to ensure radiation heat exchange. The means (8) may be fitted in the hollow space (6) between the radiating surface (4) and the absorbing surface (7) in such a way as to concentrate the energy of the thermal radiation stream in the zone of the absorbing surface (7) of the thermal energy receiver (2). Also proposed are variants of the design and lay out of the means (8).</p> |
