<p> A work tool mounting device comprising a stationary disk (1) and a rotary disk (2), the stationary disk (1) being provided with a pair of brackets (3), the rotary disk (2) being provided with a pair of fixed brackets (4) for mounting thereto a mount member for a work tool. One of the brackets (4) is linked to a bracket (8) by means of a pin (9). The stationary disk (1) and the rotary disk (2) are secured to a turntable bearing which has an outer wheel (11) and an inner wheel (12). The outer wheel (11) is provided at its outer periphery with an external gear which engages with a pinion (23) which is mounted to a drive shaft (28) to rotate the rotary disk (2). An electic motor (31) and a gear box (30) are provided, and the pinion (23) is mounted to the drive shaft (28) through a torque transmission limiter (22). Accordingly, it is possible to rotate the work tool a required angle in a desired direction. The provision of the torque transmission limiter makes it possible to prevent damages to a drive device and a transmission device even when a heavier load than prescribed is applied by the work tool and to perform work safely.</p> |
