An alloy heating plate (1) is carried by a thin layer of insulation (2) provided with grooves (3) containing heating resistance's. The insulation contains additional grooves (4) for limiting heat transmission. The plate is fixed on a press surface plate by magnets. An eccentric enables the plate to be insulated from the surface plate. The surface plate can be positioned by means of adjusting screws.
