The ski boot has its upper surmounted by an ankle which is adjustable on the bottom of the wearer's leg. It has a wedging system (4), acting on the ankle (2), which comprises a wedge (6) rotating on a spindle (7). The wedge extends along the ankle internal wall (16) and near to its upper edge (12). The wedge has a projection (6) which, according to its angular position, retracts in a housing in the ankle or projects on the ankle wall. The wedge projection and its housing are positioned relative to the wedge rotational spindle at the same distance. The wedge is angularly displaced relative to the upper edge by an angle corresponding to the rotation of the wedge between its two wedging positions.
