PURPOSE:To omit necessity for selecting a specific material as a material for a light absorbing agent layer and to increase the degree of freedom in the selection of a material by forming a dielectric multilayer film for transmitting recording light with a prescribed wavelength range between adjacent light absorbing agent layers and reflecting recording light with other wavelength ranges. CONSTITUTION:A laser beam with a certain wavelength is projected from a semiconductor laser 21 to radiate the inside of an optical recording medium 10. Since the film 4 reflects 100% the beam with the wavelength, the laser beam is reflected upward by the film 4 and converged by the 2nd light absorbing agent layer 5 and its information is recorded. Consequently, optical recording can be executed by a simple device constitution and a material forming the light absorbing agent layer can be optionally selected. |
