<p>By tuning a transceiver device, such as a walkie-talkie or radiotelephone, which communicates with a first system which uses a signalling channel for transmitting, during a first time interval, system information, such as synchronisation information, and for transmitting, during a second time interval, users' information such as call information, and which uses speech channels for the actual communication, during the first time interval to another frequency channel associated with another system, it is achieved that the transceiver device is capable of being approached from both systems, namely, without call information transmitted by the first system via the first frequency channel needing to be lost during the second time interval. Furthermore, further call information to be transmitted by the second system via the second frequency channel may then simply be defined in such a manner that said further call information need not be lost either. <IMAGE></p> |
